Tara Strong

TARA STRONG (aka Tara Charendoff) began her successful acting career in Toronto Canada, when at the age of twelve, she performed at the "Toronto Yiddish Theater." A novice to the language, she learned her songs phonetically (this proved rather humorous when fans came backstage to give her praise in Yiddish). Tara continued to work in regional theaters until the age of thirteen when she landed a leading role opposite Mr. T. in the production of "T.N.T."

Tara's natural gift for making people laugh through unusual voices became most apparent when she starred as the title character in the animated series, "Hello Kitty." This role inaugurated her lifetime career as a performer in over fifty different animated series. Tara currently performs on several critically acclaimed television series, including Nickelodeon's "The Rugrats" as Baby Dil, Cartoon Network's "The Power Puff Girls" as Bubbles, Nickelodeon's "The Fairly Odd Parents" as Timmy, Warner Brothers "Batman" as Batgirl, Disney's "Lloyd In Space" as a two headed monster named Cindy and Disney's "Proud Family" as Bebe, Cece and Puff! In addition to Tara's success on television, her animated features include, Warner Bros. "Scooby Doo on Zombie Island," Tara's dream job in Disney's sequel "The Little Mermaid II" as Melody, which was the number 1 selling video released in March and coming soon, Warner Bros. "Tom & Jerry."

Tara worked on several television and film projects in Toronto, including a sit-com in which she played the leading role. When she moved to Los Angeles in 1994, just in time for the earthquake, Tara immediately booked a lead role in National Lampoon's "Senior Trip." This performance was followed by another significant stunt in animation where she was cast as Spot on Disney's "101 Dalmatians." Tara then found more TV/film opportunities in "Sabrina Goes to Rome" and "Sabrina Down Under." In addition, Tara has also appeared in many television shows such as: "Touched By An Angel," "3rd Rock From The Sun, " "Party of Five" and more.

Some of Tara's most memorable moments in animation include her appearance at the Mann's Chinese Theatre and the El Capitan when she walked down the red carpet for "The Rugrats Movie," "The Rugrats In Paris," "The Little Mermaid II" and when "The Rugrats" received a Star on Hollywood's Walk Of Fame. Tara is a
three-time nominee for the prestigious "Annie Awards."

Tara's other characters can also be seen on shows such as: Shareena on Warner Brothers "Detention", many characters on FOX Family's "Kids Room 402," many characters on FOX's "Family Guy & King of the Hill." Watch for Tara in upcoming shows such as: "Da Mob" and "Fillmore" which are currently in production.
